I had been wanting to make a clasp frame purse in FOREVER!
And now that I live so close to Melbourne I took it as a sign to get my butt to a sewing class.
The class was fun…lots of chatter and laughs and tips and tricks. It took all day to make our purses and then finally came the part I was dreading. I was terrified to put on the silver clasp frame. I didn't know what I was doing and I had heard it was tricky. Well it sure was tricky but I manage to bite the bullet and get it done!
AND
This is what I made….
I love it!
My lovey new clutch is made from an old vintage table cloth. The fabric is just so lovely in real life and has a gorgeous texture that only vintage fabric has!
So now I have the bug!
I have found my ideal market to sell my purses and I will spend the next few weeks practicing making a million little purses. Fun Fun Fun!
